Rasam Powder

Prep time : 10 min Yields : Approximately 7 tsp

Ingredients
:
  • 6 tsp Yellow Pigeon Peas ( Thuvara Parippu/ Toor Dal)
  • 2 tsp Coriander Seeds
  • 2 tsp Black Pepper Corns
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
Procedure :
  • Dry roast them in a medium skillet till the peas start turning brown.
  • Grind to a fine powder using a spice grinder .
  • Store refrigerated in an airtight container.
